"F.O.C.U.O.S. on the Horizon" is a dynamic mentoring program designed to empower at-risk teens through meaningful discussions and skill-building activities. Our goal is to provide these youth with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of adolescence while fostering personal growth, self-confidence, and positive relationships.
The program emphasizes peer interaction and mentorship, aiming to create a safe and supportive space for participants to express themselves and learn from each other. We believe that by addressing key issues and promoting life skills, we can help our youth stay on the path to success.
Each week, the program is divided into two main components:
Day/Time: TBD (1 hour sessions)
Format: Moderated discussions around specific topics relevant to the lives of teens.
Goal: To provide teens with a platform to discuss personal challenges, learn conflict resolution skills, and develop healthy interpersonal relationships.
2. Group Outings
Locations: Various (community parks, local businesses, restaurants, etc.)
Focus: Themed outings that promote personal growth, physical activity, and teamwork.
Goal: To build self-confidence, foster camaraderie, and provide new experiences through diverse activities and meals.
